Unfortunately, the annual Diamond Open Day on the first Sunday in December, will be unable to go ahead this year. Usually it is a wonderful occasion celebrating the Diamond’s year with musical rides and the awards to our riders, volunteers and horses. This year would have been very special marking our 50 years of Riding for the Disabled but, as we know, it has been a memorable year for more sobering reasons. However, we are not going to lose it all together! there will be a virtual show posted on our Facebook page in early December, the awards, thank you’s and recognitions will be held over for the next Open Day. The staff are in the process of getting over excited about a drill ride complete with costumes and we are hoping to get some of the RDA riders that we are able to currently support involved.
