We were all sorry to hear the sad news that Jim Miles passed away peacefully on 29th January 2021, aged 81.
Jim was a volunteer at Diamond for many years before he finally retired in 2015. He was an experienced coach and played an important role in development of our successful Vaulting Group. He served as a Trustee and was a great ambassador for Diamond, giving many talks and fundraising presentations.
He was totally committed to disabled riding and the vaulting team and will be remembered for his passion for Diamond plus the respect and care he showed towards everyone he met, but especially his riders and vaulters.
The funeral will be held at 2.45pm on Monday 8th March at Randalls Park Crematorium, Leatherhead, but due to COVID-19 restrictions only 30 people will be allowed to attend, and attendance is by invitation only.
