Sadly, Iris Muncaster, an old friend of Diamond passed away on 6th September 2021. Iris will be remembered by many people at Diamond. For more than 10 years she was a volunteer on the yard during the day and some evenings, and also helped with show jumping and dressage events as well. When she stopped volunteering, Iris still kept in touch and often visited so she could see the horses. Iris was a regular at our Supporters Evenings and came back in 2014 for our 40th Anniversary event.Iris went into a residential care home about 5 years ago. Maz visited her there with Daisy, one of our ponies. much to the delight of the other residents, but especially for Iris for whom it must have bought back such happy memories of the time she spent volunteering at Diamond.The funeral took place on 30th September 2021 at Randalls Park Crematorium, Leatherhead.
