Georgia started riding at Diamond less than 6 months ago and is one of our individual riders on a Saturday morning! We talked to Georgia and her Mum about her experiences at Diamond….. Georgia told us all about her favourite things at Diamond, which include riding Teddy and Lizzie as well as her amazing coaches, Ruth and Cheryl. She absolutely loves giving her ponies pats and cuddles (as well as carrots). She’s recently started to learn to trot, and she loves to go fast (sometimes), describing trotting as ‘a bit bumpy’! In the summer she really loved doing the countryside challenge course, especially putting the beanbags in the buckets. Georgia’s Mum told us about how much she has progressed, and feels that the support she receives at Diamond has boosted Georgia’s confidence, as it’s an activity that not many of her friends do. She mentioned it provides more benefits than just riding, including her interactions with a wide range of people in our Diamond community, which has helped her anxiety.
