I’m Charlie and I’m 24 years old, I have been involved at Diamond Centre since I was 5 years old, I used to ride Frank until I got too big, now I just come along and support my sister who rides there and my mum and other sister who volunteer. I also help out at events if I can.
I wanted to raise money for the centre as it is such an amazing place and I decided to take part in the 5k challenge with Parallel Windsor (www.parallellifestyle.com) and get people to sponsor me. I completed the 5k challenge on Sunday 7th July at Windsor Great Park, the sun was shining when I started and I managed to finish the whole 5k before the rain came!
I raised over £200 in sponsorship and I know that the money is going to a great place.
