Wow – what a fantastic day! We were completely overwhelmed by the support of our wonderful local community. A huge and heartfelt thanks to all our amazing entertainers, stall holders, contributors and visitors for making the Autumn Fair our best one yet!
We would like to say a special huge thank you to all our wonderful staff (and in some cases their partners!) for working so incredibly hard to make the Autumn Fair such a success. Each and everyone one of you went the extra mile to make sure it was our best one yet. So thank you Maz, Claire, Kate, Sophie, Skye, Faye, Dawn, Liz and Marcus. We know how much work you put into the preparations, the delivery and the clean up. Your hard work and commitment to Diamond are greatly appreciated.
We would also like to say a massive thank you to all our amazing volunteers (adults and junior) and riders who helped run this years fair. There are far too many of you to name individually but a heartfelt thanks to all of you for helping set up the fields and schools, making endless piles of sandwiches and cakes, manning the ever popular BBQ, pouring countless cups of tea and coffee, managing the incredibly busy car parks, manning the gates, running and helping with stalls and activities (dog show, dog scurry, dog agility, donkey rides, whack the rat to name but a few), cleaning and looking after the horses and helping to clear up when everyone else had gone. We had record numbers of visitors this year so know how challenging that made things. But with very few hiccups it was a massive success. And finally thanks to all our sponsors, both personal and organisations such as the Surrey Morris Minor Association and the Surrey Masonic Sports Association which both made very generous donations. So thank you all. Diamond wouldn’t be the special place that it is without your support.
